we booked this cruise due to it being my wifes 60th birthday and because we had such a great experience on a previous celebrity cruise but found this one very disappointing. embarkation was fine and bags delivered quickly because being in aqua class the cabin ws ok and Charlie looked after us. The dining in aqua blu was fine with excellent staff but throughout the ship it was apparent that there was not as many staff as before. The bar had only one person on even when busy and we had quite a wait we think that is due to most of the people were on drinks packages so the less served the more profit?? you do the maths even on the 60s night there were 2 serving with at least 25 people waiting and no waiters till 15 minutes into show.I even had to go and tell a waiter that no one was serving our side of the theatre as elderly people in front were getting quite annoyed not the staffs fault cos there were only 3 waiters in the theatre with 100s of people. The biggest let down was the "evening chic" nights we all called it dumbing down night at least some of us made the effort as we said a 5 star cruise should be dressing up and not having someone in restaurant looking as if they just got back from work!!! the excursions were not good value for money according to most of the people we spoke to and do we really need to tie up in the industrial part of the port with no place to walk to maybe its to make you buy the excursions again you do the maths because we found EVERTHING on board was sell sell sell This is one couple who will not be paying this much for a cruise when we had one for 5 weeks with p&o for the same price and had better food better entertainment and more staff!! celebrity look after your clients and stop cutting corners for more profit you can fool some of the people all of the time but not all of us you know the full saying
