Things that met or exceeded my expectations. 1. The piazza, beautiful space with something going on all the time. 2. The retreat pool, it's a good size pool with plenty of space to lounge around and with no kids 3. The food on board. The dinning room was just a short wait for anytime and the food and service on par with past experience. The pizza is very good. Vines is always a great pre dinner stop with a great selection of wine.

Things the failed to meet my expectations. 1. Crooners entertainment. The piano guy played the same very old tunes everynight. 2. Churchills, while the bar service was excellent the room is tiny and full of cigarette smokers who complained about our cigar smoke. The room is called Churchills for a reason. 3. The balcony, tiny, tiny, tiny. 4. Service, overall below my expectations with very few smiles and genuine care. 5. Port day in Grand Turk, we witnessed the local cruise center security staff making homophobic comments about a couple who walked by holding hands. The comments were hateful and disturbing. I did report this to Princess.

Overall, we had a good time on the Royal Princess. I would sail on her again but I do favor the Grand style ships better.
