Our room choice was terrific. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the waves.

This was our first cruise. We chose this cruise because my husband didn't want to fly. I had a good time but I would not choose a ship this small again. We are not drinkers and most of the activities centered around alcohol. The pool is small. The food was not extraordinary. We plan to give Carnival another chance on a bigger ship with more activities.

Embarkation was awesome. The port is very convenient and check in went smoothly. Our luggage was at our room when we arrived. Our Cabin Steward Puspa was incredible. The food in the dining room was good, however the buffet food was just average buffet food you can get anywhere, but to be fair buffet food is hard to maintain quality. The 24 hour Pizza Pirate was really good. We chose not to do any scheduled excursions because we wanted to relax so we just wandered around the ports and had no trouble getting from place to place. Debarkation was also very smooth. I am definitely hooked on cruising even though my experience wasn't a wow. I think I just need a bigger ship with more to do as I said before. Do book Cabin V30 if you choose this cruise to get a better price with a view that is hardly obstructed.

Cabin Review

Junior Suite (obstructed views)

Cabin OB

This cabin was less expensive because of the obstructed view but the view is actually not obstructed at all. There is the tip of the rescue boat that sticks out barely on the balcony but otherwise the view was awesome. The cabin size was perfect.

Port Reviews

Jacksonville

Embarkation is easy and very convenient.

Freeport

We took a taxi to Port Lucaya. Not very exciting. The hurricane damage was still evident. I felt really bad for those who live there.

Nassau

We really enjoyed walking around Nassau. Went to the Pirate Museum enjoyed the sunshine.
