Cabin: Cove Balcony

The ports of call were the reason I chose this cruise. Embarkation was a nightmare. Disembarkation was very smooth. The cabins are typical carnival, nice storage space. I had a cove balcony, loved it. Cabin 2364. I heard very little noise from Galley which is above. The crew on this cruise was amazing, always smiling and trying to help you. There is a slight communication problem with language, but that is to expected with an international crew, if you only speak english. The entertainment would have been great except for the so call lounges, the seating was the worst. (The entertainment was very good).Anytime dining was a little odd or confusing. You go to the 5 floor to get a reservation and then to the 3rd floor to dine.

The food was the only thing that saved the day. The speciality restaurants were awesome, the steak house, the seafood shack and the chinese restaurant was terrific. The service outstanding and the prices great. My choice for a great family dinner was the Italian (Cucina del Capitano.)I only dined in MDR 2 times out of 11 days. The other 9 where at Fahrenheit 555,jiji Asian.Cucina del Capitano and the seafood shack. I had lunch and breakfast most time on Lido. My cabin stewards Mr. Patrick and Miss Saung were outstanding, went above and beyond. Except for the poor furniture design in the main lounges, the atrium and embarkation it was a great cruise..

Cove Balcony

Cabin 7C

the cabin was good. the balcony very private. I wish it would have been washed more than once . The room stewards Saung and Patrick were great. The cabin was always neat, towels and ice replaced without asking. The cove balcony is located on the main deck easy to access when getting back on ship. Didn't have to wait for lift and only one floor up to dining room.

Port Reviews

St. Maarten

I take the water taxi and go into town. If you have not been there before I find the tours are great. There is a lot to do at the pier.

Aruba

Having been to Aruba, just walked around and went to beach by taxi. Beautiful beaches.

Grand Turk

My favorite port, walked over to margaritaville, swim in ocean and pool that's a stone throw from ship. It is a wonderful place.
