My wife and I completed a short Thanksgiving cruise on the Majesty of the Seas. All in all it was a perfectly delightful three days of fun. We thought we must have been on another ship based on some of the negative reviews about Majesty. We found the ship sparkling, the crew was friendly and there were plenty of activities and shows. Yeah, maybe a bit of carpet might have been a bit worn here and there, but you would be too if you had thousands of people walking on you every day!

Our outside cabin was small but comfortable. Our cabin attendant was excellent. Bibi always greeted us by name and an enthusiastic smile and kept our cabin in great shape. Food in the main dining room was OK and we had some problems with slow and inconsistent service by our wait staff. After a visit by the Head Waiter the problems were resolved. All of the shows in the main theatre were very good and we really enjoyed the 70's Disco Night Party. We never had a problem finding open lounge chairs around the pool or on the deck (one advantage of sailing smaller ships). Our stop in Nassau was fun. We've been there many times but always enjoy eating at Oh Anros at the Fish Fry and exploring the town. Unfortunately we missed our visit to Coco Cay because we were unable to tender due to choppy seas and a bad forecast. The sea day was enjoyable, however. Self disembarkation was smooth and we were off the ship by 8:00.

Would definitely sail on the Majesty of the Seas again. It is a pleasant change to sail on a smaller ship compared to the mega liners.
