Ninth carnival cruise, twenty fifth over all. If this is your first, have fun. If otherwise, prepare to be horrified. Menu was nursing home quality, pay up for steak or lobster, and slow. By fourth nite diningroom was half empty. Cabin service is once a day. No turndown or clean towels as attendants have been given more rooms to care for. Sign up for AM or PM service. The house band is gone, leaving the two half hour shows with recorded music. Entertainment is mostly for18 year old passenger comedy shows. Either pay for bingo or 7 trivia games a day. Ship itself is ready to retire. Light from next cabin shows under the wall at night, explaining why we could hear the arguments and make ups quite clearly. At one point only 3 of the 4 midship elevators were working, making it difficult for those of us who needed assistance.
Once a day service should not be called service.
Walked on our own as this was our sixth visit.
