Carnival Pride - May 30 - June 6, 2009

Arrived in Baltimore at 2 pm and was on the ship within 1 hour of being dropped off.  Had to wait until 3:30 to get into cabin to drop off bags before eating:)  Went on deck for disembarkation.  Tried to get familiar with ship but continued to get lost on occasion throughout the week - directionally challenged.

This is my first cruise in 20 years so it feels like my first.  I thought the Carnival entertainers could have been better, especially the two lead singers.  The special shows - one fantastic singer, comedy, and hypnosis - were all good.  Went to the adult comedy and hypnosis shows.

Cabin Review

Cabin 8H

Cabin was close to the elevator but far enough away so you didn't hear the elevator traffic.  It was also just 2 decks below the lido deck dining area.  The extended balcony was wonderful - had plenty of room for 2 charis and a table.  Bath was roomer than at home.  The linen closet was across the hall so the stewards carts were parked outside the door many times but it didn't bother us.
