Excellent cruise on the Summit again. Had previously travelled to Bermuda 2 years and came back after the refresh. Public areas look great - new furniture , carpet and always well maintained and spotless public areas. Sailed in Aqua class , did not see any changes in cabins. To address some reviews about rust - if we looked over the balcony at support poles or in corners outside yes there were small spots. I doubt any ship unless brand new does not. There was always cleaning and ongoing painting in port stops.

The Summit is a smaller ship and to me never feels crowded. We boarded at 12:30 and from drop off to walking on took 10 minutes and were handed a glass of champagne. Was able to access cabin by 1:15 pm. Was greeted by our cabin steward and asked if we had any special requests. Patrick was already very friendly and quickly secured any thing we asked for with a smile such as xtra pillows etc.We had the premium drink package and took advantage of that at dinner and in bars. We did not have any issues gettting drinks in public areas or the dining room. I enjoy walking up to a bar and seldom waited more than 3 or 4 minutes ever.

The new Wi-Fi service is much much better also, which came in handy. We found Captain Kate to be ever present and charming - the cruise seemed to run effortlessly. She was very visible. The star of the show to us is Blu. That's why we return. Excellent Sommelier Fernando and Maitre D Bruno. They know what you drink , the speed of service you enjoy and what your likes are. The food is diverse and cooked to perfection. They could rival many top rated restaurants. A welcome addition was the new Sushi restaurant, we enjoyed lunch quite a few times there.Al Baccio was great for coffeee etc. Other than one breakfast we did not eat in the buffet although it looked great.

Cabin Review

Aqua Class

Cabin A2

195 sq ft- small balcony - chairs not loungers - cleaned twice a day with turndown service. Flat screen tv with decent amount of channels. Mattesss and bedding could be better. Needs a few more outlets in room - none near bed. Shower pressure and temp very good.
