This was our first Halloween Cruise. I loved being able to dress in costume and not be the only adult. Some of the costumes were questionable but there were a lot of great ones. The ship didn't seem to crowded even with 4000 people. There was plenty of room for everyone except for when we were all waiting to get into the one and only musical production they had for the entire week. Some of the other cruisers were pretty rude during this trip, but the staff was excellent and made up for any bad experiences. My biggest complaint was the night club was closed most of the time for "private event". I missed getting to dance every night. Aside from only having one big show production, the entertainment was very good. I missed the comedians because there was always something else I wanted to do instead, but my friends said that they were good. I loved getting to watch movies under the stars. It rained on and off the entire week so it made the chair selection thin because there is limited space under a cover, but you can't fault Carnival for the weather. Dr. E was the best. I thoroughly enjoyed his morning messages and his Q&A was hilarious. In fact, everything he did was hilarious. The food was really good and plentiful. I never had a problem finding a seat on Lido. There was never a dull moment. There were several things that I would have liked to do but just didn't have the time. I will have to cruise again and skip the excursions so I can enjoy all the ship has to offer.

Cabin Review

Spa Balcony

Cabin 8P

The spa cabin was wonderful. The colors are so much better in these cabins. The easy access to the spa and gym was wonderful. There was plenty of room and it was always clean.

Port Reviews

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata)

We took an excursion to really see the culture. It was very nice but the time was crowded and the driver had to really hurry back to get us on the ship in time. The drive back was very bumpy. I enjoyed seeing the real Dominican Republic.
