This was our very first cruise. We absolutely loved every minute and in fact within a week of our return have booked our next one. The ship is beautiful, the attention to detail is incredible, the service is impeccable. The breakfast choice was an overwhelming display of fresh cold and hot food, such a variety, I used to get lost! Lunches were on the same scale - we never felt like the food got 'samey'. Dinner was amazing every night. To have your own head waiter and sommelier was a great experience as they were so knowledgeable about the menu and wine pairing.
The entertainment and activities was great. The shows were brilliant - great costumes and dancers/singers. Good comedians too. Plenty of activities-can't fail to find something you enjoy. To have the next day's itinerary delivered to your room each night is a great idea to enable you to plan your days.
We travelled with friends who have cruised often so we had some great advice about the port destinations and what to do on board.

Deluxe Veranda 2C
Lovely cabin with a balcony. Nice and roomy. Bathroom was excellent with plenty of storage. Bed was really comfortable. Immaculate.

Boston
We did our own thing, went to Fenway Park, Cheers Bar, and Queens Market - all really good, great atmosphere - lovely place I would like to visit again.
New York (Manhattan)
We didn't opt for an excursion but did our own thing: Empire State Building, Ground Zero, Macys, Central Park. Absolutely loved New York, will definitely come again! Sailing in and out of New York was amazing.
King's Wharf
Just took a taxi to Horseshoe Bay beach which was beautiful and a much appreciated relaxing in the sun day.
Nassau
Port very much hustle and bustle, lots of people offering taxis and hair braiding etc! We took a water taxi to the beach by Atlantis. Not as peaceful and relaxing as Bermuda I have to say, but nice all the same.
