We love this itinerary, for us it's very convenient living only 45 minutes away, no airports to contend with. We pull right up to the porters station unload the luggage and then we walk up the "to ship" escalator. Very easy, very safe, and police everywhere, no need to worry about any safety issues at all. Our boarding time was between 10-10:30 we were processed in under 10 minutes and were on board by 11:30. This was our 4th year in a row and generally we go in October. We find the weather is a few degrees cooler in Bermuda late fall and the rug rats are in school.

The refurbish came out great! The TV has more info at your finger tips, but you can not make restaurant reservations or view the restaurant menus which I find very convenient on other cruise lines. This was my 14th cruise and I find for the money its worth it. The food quality was an improvement over the last few years........especially the deserts. The entertainment was very good, we saw the David Di Vinchi magic/elements show, seems like they merged the two and it was very good. Jose and Patti in the Grand Atrium were very, very good!

Bermuda is absolutely beautiful, I've cruised there 4 times flown there twice. Lots to see and do there. I prefer this island/country over the entire Caribbean and I've virtually been all through it, no contest. The pricing for this itinerary has increased 20% over last year and I didn't see any added value for the increase but it's what it is. Probably going back to Alaska out of Seattle next year instead, we feel with the increase it competes price wise with the Alaskan cruise. We always get a balcony generally starboard (right) forward deck 10 it's quite close to the forward elevators and theater, restaurants, pool and deck 10 passes from the front of the ship directly to the back of the ship without any jogging up and down shifting etc.

The cabin was a typical state room with a balcony, the cabin was small but we're only in there to sleep so we're not to picky. The bath had the shower divided with the sliding door as well as the toilet. The room steward was good however, I found the service much, much, better before NCL took over their payment system. I got better service for sure leaving the envelopes of cash! Nothing speaks like American cash! When they're working for the cash the service is 2 fold. It seems to me them knowing they're getting their fixed pay whether they're good or bad, it doesn't stimulate them nearly as much, which makes perfect sense. I have a feeling NCL will revert back to the way it use to be because they need better service comments then they've been getting since the change IMO.
