We chose this cruise for my husband and our two teenage girls:13 and 16. We had 2 inside cabins side by side, on deck 2. First off:we arrived at the port at 11am and were on board by 11:15 am, no joke!! We needed a short cruise due to girls schedules, so getting on board fast to begin our short vacation was important! Last cruise on Independence took 2 hrs to board! Norwegian:11/2 hours!

Yes, this is an older, smaller ship but, we found it beautifully decorated for the holidays and clean! The crew was all extremely friendly and warm! The food was good. we had 6pm reservations every night and ate in main dining room all 3 nights. Service was very prompt, best I have experienced in all 8 cruises I have been on. Usually food arrives Luke warm, not here, hot! The meals were mostly delicious.

The shows were good. I really wanted to see more dancing and singing in theater but, we did enjoy the welcome aboard show and musicians. Comedian was pretty funny too. Loved the flag show on last night! The main downside was our shower had cold water that rarely got warm, even after we reported it. My bed was hard so, got a topper and it helped some.

Loved port! Parked in garage and walked right across onto ship. Easiest access yet.
