I chose this cruise to try to get a flavour of the Caribbean, however every time we went ashore we were besieged by hundreds of little shops selling DIAMONDS, EMERALDS,PEARLS & RUBIES.

As far as I am aware very few residents of the Islands have their own Jewelry shop, so it was a serious culture shock to find every island had the rows of Jewelry stores as the first thing you see.

I was hoping to spend time on a beach, but most trips were to 5* Hotels where you can have lunch and lounge around in 5* luxury for the afternoon, again I am not aware of normal residents owning 5* Hotels so the experience was far removed from what I wanted to do.

Cabin Review

Ocean View 7

Sufficient space, Bed was big enough and comfortable , veranda was sizeable, en suite quite cramped. Service was good

All in all adequate.

Port Reviews

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Loved Fort Lauderdale, stayed at a great hotel, rode the Waterway all the way and heard some great stories and saw fantastic yachts and houses (Money, money, money).

Beach and restaurants excellent, I wished that I had spent 12 days here instead of on a cruise.
