Here goes! This is our 6th cruise with Celebrity and we are still avid fans of this Cruise company. We boarded at Circular Quay,(what a beautiful port) Sydney on Oct 8th. Sadly, let's discuss the only negative aspect of this cruise: We had early check-out at our B&B and arrived at the pier at 10:30 not even expecting to board this soon. Guests from the previous cruise were still debarking..... We were told that level 7 (our stateroom floor) would be embarking at 3:30 pm. What????My husband checked again at 11:30- no queue, no embarking! (In all our years of cruising, this was a first) We returned at 1pm and a nice lady-staff greeted us through. We were on the ship in 15 minutes. ( PLEASE PLEASE DO AWAY WITH THIS ANNOYING EMBARKATION PROCEDURE!!!)
From then on everything was TOP NOTCH! We were again warmly greeted by welcoming staff and mimosa drinks. Up to the Oceanview cafe where a nice lunch was awaiting us. Our stateroom was ready soon afterwards, very tidy and clean and we met our room steward.
Meals: All our meals on board were very tasty and plentiful. No complaints there!

Our cabin was spacious with a little sofa and a nice size bathroom with shower door. It was very well maintained by our steward. The bed and pillows were so comfortable.

We arrived in Sydney 4 days prior to the cruise. We did hop-on-hop off and visited much of the Sydney surroundings and WALKED a lot. We visited the Opera Center, What a building!!!! We loved Sydney and the Aussies.
