The mid-sized Celebrity Summit to the Southern Caribbean was clean, organized, and had many nice features such as great inside and outside seating areas, nice gym and spa. Our spa services were top notch. We would have done more services but they were booked. I would not pay extra for the relaxation room but Blu was worth the extra cost of Aqua Class to us.

We were supposed to get concierge/butler service with Aqua but that is not what they say it is. If you ask your attendant for something he will do it if you can find him. That is basically it. The balcony room was not large, but well-equipped. Our attendant smiled appropriately but not the best or most thorough.

Pools and hot tubs were adequate for the number of people, though it would be nice if they were open after dinner.

Cabin Review

Aqua Class

Cabin A1

Average or small size, small balcony, but this ship has such nice public areas there was not a lot of times when we used the balcony or even stayed in the room. This particular cabin location was excellent however, as it was the last side balcony in the aft and at the top of the stairs to a great outside bar at the rear of the ship. Great location. Even though there was a bar below it was very quiet and the bed was comfortable.

Port Reviews

San Juan

Well worth staying the night before at the Doubletree though it is a ways from the cruise port. Had a drink outside at the Condado Vanderbilt. Will stay there next time as it was fantastic.

Antigua

Learned our lesson and booked a day pass at Galley Bay Resort which was expensive but fantastic.

St. Lucia

Not a lot to do other than beach. Should have booked a private resort day pass but went to a marginal public beach that was highly recommended. Feel bad for the people but we had to listen to a lot of sales pitches for things that I did not want to buy.

St. Maarten

Went to Orient Beach. Busy but nice, lots of commerce but many more on beach dining options than some of the smaller islands.

St. Thomas

If there is any place on this trip to shop, this is it, mostly for jewelry. Side streets offer much better prices. Lots to do here so no reason to book excursion. Got a resort day pass which was fine.
