We are frequent cruisers and this was our 42nd Royal Caribbean cruise and 108th cruise in total. We have always loved the Freedom class ships for their size, appearance, ease of getting around and amount of public space.

We were very impressed with the beautiful condition that we found the Freedom OTS to be in. This was our 2nd time on the ship...the 1st being about 9 years ago. This ship has been well maintained and looks far younger than its ten years. Every crew member that we interacted with during this cruise could not have been nicer or more helpful in ensuring that we would have a terrific cruise experience. We were in cabin 6620 an E3 accessible veranda. Throughout the trip our cabin attendant couldn't have been more helpful and pleasant in meeting our needs for extra blankets, pillows, hangers, etc.

We attended the production show Marquee which featured broadway music and it was one of the finest production shows we have seen on RCCL. Also saw the acapela group named "The Edge" and were enthralled by their outstanding performance.

Port Reviews

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Arrived at the port around noon and were quickly aboard ship without difficulty. For some reason the cameras were not working at check-in so we had to be photographed by Security on the ship as we boarded.
