Great Transatlantic cruise, nice ports of call, beautiful refurbished ship. Food in main dining room sub-par, though, and disappointing. Super, good-sized room, very clean. Calm seas, and warm temperatures, especially for November, would highly recommend a November transatlantic that travels southwest to Puerto Rico, surprisingly nice weather. Even swimming weather! As for entertainment in the theater, some solo acts were excellent, the revues not so much, nowhere near the quality and caliber of Allure or Oasis type ships. House Band was fabulous, as were the musicians playing in the centrum area, and poolside. Service everywhere was very good, polite, helpful. Embarkation easy and fast on day one, and last day went really well. The ports were great, would highly recommend Valencia and Lisbon especially. The day we passed by Gibralter was an especially interesting experience, with views of both Europe and Africa from our vantage point outside on the ship. Our room was an excellent size, with more storage than we could use. Fitness Center was a little small, sometimes had to wait for equipment, but it was nice and clean.
Really fantastic room. Super quiet, very good size, at the very front of the ship. Where the window was, we could even climb into that area (if you are nimble and in pretty good shape), and we would just sit there and watch as we pulled into port, or we would view the sunset. Neat bonus!
Of course Rome is incredible. Make sure to spend a few days in this city before you leave for your cruise.
What a beautiful city. Go to the big market in the old town. Then just walk around the old streets.
Walk right off the ship and explore old city.
