Cabin: Verandah Stateroom

We wanted to celebrate our 45th, and on googling Mediterranean cruises, Oceania came to the top with an excellent deal. The agent who responded to our query was friendly and knowledgeable, and she suggested the perfect stateroom. Upgrades were offered, but we couldn't let go of our "extended veranda," which was twice the size of normal and had room for two chairs, a table, AND two lounge chairs!

We appreciated that the specialty restaurants were included as part of the cruise and didn't cost extra. The food is amazing in every venue, but I wish they'd cut back on the portions. Even when I requested smaller portions, I always got more than I could or should eat.

Our only non-positive review is on the entertainment. It may be because the Riviera is smaller than other ships we've been on, but still we wish they'd had stronger acts.

Verandah Stateroom

Cabin B3

Loved the extended veranda, though we'd have needed better weather to really enjoy it.

Very walkable. Improved weather would have helped, but we know that Oceania cannot control this.

Kotor

Very walkable. Only better weather would have helped, and we realize that Oceania cannot control this.

Monaco (Monte Carlo)

Very walkable and interesting.
