Oasis of the Seas is a nice looking ship and getting onto the ship at Port Canaveral was very easy. Getting off the ship on the return trip was a nightmare! Departure started out okay in the meeting location, then everything went bad. We played a game of hide and seek for our luggage. Then we looked to get a porter but all were taken so we stood on the lines - this is where you get the meltdown. If you were lucky to get a porter then they took you to a special line and you got out. If you stood on line then you played the line game and kept going back and forth for over an hour. Customs needed more people to handle the amount of people on the ship.

Cabin was okay and attendant was very good.

Did not do any excursions, only got off ship at St. Maarten and paid $14 for water taxi, $20 for 2 lounge chairs and umbrella at Lizzy’s, and $17 for beach bag.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D5

Very nice and had lots of outlets - this was good because they confiscated my surge protector and extension cord. Room was average and balcony was nice.

Port Reviews

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

Very easy to get onto the ship!

St. Maarten

Very nice port and you can take a water taxi to the beach and shopping site. Due to health issues, I wasn't able to walk and enjoy this great beach but I was able to see that it would have been a great experience.
