Chose this cruise, with 2 friends, to fit in with school break; but children were not a problem.

Ship, cabin, theatre were very good and the general organisation was more than competent. Main gripe was lack of staff training, other than their constantly pushing drinks and drinks packages. We did not expect Silver Service, but did expect the waiting staff to understand the basics of delivering and clearing plate/dishes. They should not lean across one guest to deliver to another; nor attempt to clear finished plates before all on table have finished. Equally they could not be bothered to find small bottles of water, even though the Wine Card offers same, they just said we don't have. Patently untrue as small bottles available at all bars.

The Maitre D. also disappointed. We spoke to him before the first dinner explaining one of our party was a Vegetarian. He said that there were always vegetarian dishes on the menu, but he would send a Manager to our table that evening to discuss how the Chef may be able to offer other dishes (the norm on most cruise ships). We are still waiting, despite asking our waitress several times.

Cabin B2

Good space, clean and well equipped. Towels changed twice daily. Slight problem with replenishment of bottled water.
