Just arrived from a week at the Epic. First trip out of Canaveral in FL. A big mess boarding due to being the first time out from this port. Don't really blame them for this since the port people were trying to figure out the new software and it was messy. Getting out was not fun either. I have never seen such a mess in our many cruises. The "early out, carry your own luggage" was not well organized. They had until 9am to do this and put everyone else about 1-1/2 hour late. If you are going to offer early out, make them go by 8am or stay like the others.

The food at the main dining rooms was average, very average. However, the food at the buffet was great. We ate there almost every night and seems like many others did too.

One thing I didn't like was the fact that Norwegian seems to nickel and dime you to death, even charging for other items at the main dining room. Lobster night? Forget it, unless I missed it. But you could buy one every day.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin was nice. I really like the separate bathroom areas. Otherwise, it was small and crowded.

Room steward was attentive and kept everything clean and organized, but he was kind of invisible to us. Saw him twice.

Coffee in the room is a nice thing to offer, but try to offer regular coffee instead of decaf all the time.

Port Reviews

St. Thomas

Just went shopping. Ship stay was too short at this port.
