First we went on the sunshine because of the convenience (only 6 hours to the port of Charleston SC by car) and also for the ship. With carnival we have gone on two different Fantasy class ships and we wanted something bigger/nicer.

As far as the cruise went the port of Charleston has gotten better. The people were nice and getting on the ship was painless.

The ship was beautiful. Food was on par with carnival food. Was tasty but kind of bland but all in all I would give the food 4 out of 5 stars. The shows were great. The comedy had our sides hurting. Bingo was great (wife won a bingo). Our cabin was nice and the cabin steward was awesome (hi johnny). The cruise director was also great. (attractive young British lady named Emma)

Cabin 4A

Cabin was as expected. It was nice for a interior room.

Port Reviews

Charleston

The port of Charleston is our least favorite port to leave from. But with that said it was a decent experience this time.

Grand Turk

Absolutely beautiful. This is our favorite port we have ever been too. We liked it so well we are going to book and vacation to stay in Grand Turk for a few days.
