Everything about the Neptune Suite & the amenitities that go with it are great. Priority embarkation & disembarkation, priority tender access, the Neptune lounge & the suite itself. Unfortunately we sailed on the Westerdam which was well passed needing renovation. Dining was spotty, ranging from excellence at the Le Cirque experience to poor with a piece of veal that you could pound nails with in the main Dining Room. Entertainment was just so-so. One night we went to the Queen's Lounge for an ABBA experience. It was somewhat ironic & amusing when the master of ceremonies announced the curtain would not be opening & that all they would be doing was playing recorded music. The majority of the audience left. Service by our cabin stewards was mainly excellent. The ports are pedestrian but we didn't go on this cruise to visit them but to have some warmth & sun. We spend more time than most cruisers on our veranda which was ample. However the furniture & cushions should have been replaced some time ago. Also we missed having a sun/shade area & pool for adults only.
This suite has a great layout. Really enjoyed the separate dressing room & 6 closets. We tried out the Jacuzzi tub & it was great. We tried the separate shower but it is too small so we ended up using the one in the tub.
