This was our 3rd Silversea cruise and our best yet. We have previously cruised on the Silver Spirit as well as the Silver Cloud and there is a special charm on the Silver Shadow that I feel the others were lacking. The overall feel for this ship is warm and classy. That being said I have loved all ships, thus cruising for a 3rd time.

The staff, service, food and ship itself were all outstanding.

We were fortunate to dine in all 4 restaurants and they were all fantastic. They are all very different in food selection and ambiance but the food and service were equally fantastic. As written in other reviews, advanced dinner reservations are suggested in all but "The Restaurant". They will certainly do their best to accommodate you without a reservation but it does not always work out. I learned the need for advance dining reservations on our first Silversea cruise. Read more
