This was our 2nd cruise on the Majesty, the first being 11 years ago. Embarkation was very easy...arrived at the terminal 10:30am and were in the Windjammer at 11am just as it opened. We ate dinner in the Starlight Dining Hall the first night and only night. No shrimp cocktail on the menu....I think this was the first time out of 12 cruises I did not have it. Very disappointed! The food was OK but not as good as on previous cruises. Service was slow...missed the start of the show because of this and had to struggle to find standing room. All other meals were eaten in the Windjammer, Johnny Rockets, and Compass Deli. Be sure to get to the Windjammer when they first open or late in order to avoid the crowds. We had an OV cabin on the 2nd deck and was very small but we made do as only a 3 day cruise. The cabin stewart took good care of us and made sure we had ice every evening. The ship, being small, was very easy to navigate. It is old but they do a good job in maintaining it.
Nassau - have been here several times so we elected to visit Senior Frogs. This was a first time for us and I must say, it was very interesting and entertaining. Very loud. Just a short walk from the ship.
Coco Cay - This was our first time on Coco Cay. Previous attempts failed because of high winds and/or high waves. But we made it this time. The island is very nice, easy to get around and everything well organized. More than enough chaise lounges. The BBQ lunch was good...burgers, dogs, ribs, etc. They have a small straw market but it is your normal souvenir stuff. I think I liked Coco Cay more than Labadee but that's just my opinion.
small, very small. And the shower...could barely turn around in it!
Visit Senior Frogs for a fun time with good food and drink.
Stayed at the Hampton Inn in Cocoa Beach and used their park and cruise pkge which included shuttle to and from.
