Took a quick 4 night cruise from Galveston on the fresh out of dry dock Disney Wonder. This was the smoothest embarkation and disembarkation I have ever had out of this port with over 6 cruises from this port on other lines. I give big kuddos to Disney for knowing how to do things right!

We arrived to the newly renovated terminal 2 just before our 1pm boarding time and was through security and got our key to the world card and told to wait upstairs for our boarding number to be called. We were boarding group #17, when we got up they were just calling #8, but that went quick and within 10 minutes we were in line to take pictures and board the Wonder. They told us our cabins would be ready after 1:30 so we went to the restaurant for a sit down lunch that they offer (you can go to the buffet as well). After Lunch we decided to go check out our cabin and then check out the rest of this renovated ship. It looks really good from the new carpet and hallways and new adults area with the new Crown & Fin Pub and Azure (all at the front on deck 3)

Cabin - We booked an inside cabin, Cat 11B on Deck 5, aft, updated with new furnishings and bedding as well. It was the perfect size for 2 people, however I did miss the split bathrooms. Small refrigerator that was nice and cold was great to keep the bottled water I ordered before the cruise. Plenty of storage as well in this cabin. New flat screen TV's with plenty of programming for every age was always available 24/7.

Cabin Review

Standard Inside Stateroom

Cabin 11B

I felt this interior cabin was spacious for two people with new beds and updated linens, etc. New flat screen tv's with lots of choices including quite a few Disney channels and then movies running constantly all day/night as well including the new Ghostbusters and several others. The cabin does have a small refrigerator. I did miss the split bathroom that is not offered in this category. They did a great job updating the cabins, beds are not able to be split or you can't tell since it is up higher for storage of your luggage underneath.

Great location for this cabin as well, close to the aft staircase/elevators, easy to get to Buena Vista Theatre (showing first run Disney movies and all time favorites as well). Also, if you have kids deck 5 is where all the kids clubs are located and is easy to access from the cabins in the aft. Overall, great cabin and I would definitely book again.
