First I must compliment the excellent service we received during this cruise. Our cabin stewards were absolutely wonderful and respected our "Privacy Please" sign with due diligence. The "towel animals" were a real treat each night.The "in room" meals, were not always great, but we chose to have breakfast each day in our room, inorder toenjoy the marvellous scenery. The bagels were almost always cold and the one day we ordered eggs, they were disgusting!! The service was always timely, but the food did leave something to be desired.Our meals at the Lido were limited, as, in all honesty, they were below the expected quality, even for a cafeteria style of dining.Our meals in the main dining room were satisfactory, and we certainly enjoyed the Pinnacle Room each time we were there (3 in total).Our room was very spacious and enjoyable. The shower curtain in the main tub area was torn the entire time of the cruise, which was really not an issue, but was not a plus either.As what we really needed was rest and relaxation, I can honestly say, that is what we enjoyed the most.We would certainly cruise with Holland America again, this time to the southern climate.
