I choose the cruise because of the itinerary - Charleston, Miami, Nassau, private island and i always wanted to try Royal Caribbean. It just didn't happen for us. Carnival, NCL, but never on RCI. So, we even drove to Baltimore from NY. The ship is relatively small and we understood it before made a decision. But i agree with all reviewers of the ship before me - the crew is very friendly, pleasant and does everything possible so we would have a great time. The weather was great (from top)), but some crazy Bahamian current (from the bottom)) was rough and our captain decided not to go to the CocoCay island and we stayed in Nassau overnight. I never get sea sick, been on the cruise during hurricane Hanna in 2006, but the night after we left Nassau was a rocky one up until noon the next day. Other than that - the ocean was calm and weather was sunny and pleasant.

The food was OK. You can never go hungry on a cruise. Our only issue was that we are late risers and if we wanted to have a normal breakfast (not sandwiches in the Park Cafe or nothing if you happened to go for food between 11am and 11:30am) you need to hurry up and be at the buffet before closing time at 10:30. For the "normal" people, it wasn't the issue)). Our cabin was clean, everything worked, except one day light lamp started to blink and was quickly replaced. Big enough flat screen TV. We were able to watch movie from our external hard drive through it.

Great staff at the Main Dining room. We had dinner there every day. Variety of tasty food, service team made our dinner elegant and nice. Entertainment was good. Two expectable cruise ship productions show, few comedians, musician, magician. A lot of laughs and mostly fun. Live orchestra is very good. All musical band (yes, there more than one)) were great. Many interactive activities for adults for any taste. We loved the interactive boards - touch screen to see what is going on right now and where. I went to gym, small but has everything needed. The embarkation and disembarkation was quickly enough without problems. It was me and my husband, so no kids with us. If i'll find another interesting or unusual itinerary, i will go on the ship again. Even though we a little bit used to cruise on the bigger ship, but small one has advantage to go to a smaller port like Charleston in our case. Three hours drive is not bad, ship is good if you know not to expect big modern ship with a skate ring))), so why not again?..))

Cabin Review

Large Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin I

Clean. Enough space for your staff. A lot of little draws)) I like that there were a lot of mirrors and new flat screen TV, big enough. We brought external hard drive with some movies and shows and watched everything on their TV instead of our small laptop. That was unexpectable great surprise.

Port Reviews

Baltimore

Embarkation and disembarkation was easy and quick.

Charleston

Lovely city. Walked around, got on free trolley for a ride. was nice day. Got some southern Peach butter!

Miami

Again, used the free trolley to the center. To walk is too long under the sun and taxi means additional expenses, so trolley was good choice. Also, they have a free MetroMover (if i name it correctly), going above above the ground around the city. Nice!

Nassau

Been there a few times. Walked around. Got some rum cakes and went back to the ship.
