We were invited to join good friends on this cruise and had a great time! The Allure of the Sea is a magnificent ship with so many activities that we never got board. It was quite windy and a bit cool for enjoying the pools so we used the track, zip lined, played golf, watched the shows, went ice skating, consumed a lot of delicious foods, and generally spent quality time together doing whatever we wanted. The kids loved the freedom of exploring the ship together. We would set times to meet up for lunch/dinner to dine together and catch up. I liked getting up early to take in the exercise classes! The Windjammer offered a great variety of selections for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The formal dining was also very good.

The excursions were fun, but now that I've done a few I would prefer to just relax and have beach time on the next trip. My son did get sick after St. Maarten and had to have medical care then was quarantined. However, the staff took very good care of him and compensated us by providing free movies and a credit for next cruise.

Being on the ship is relaxing once you get use to the swaying from the waves. Occasionally I feel like I'm still on the ship! Now I know what it was like for my father and uncles who were in the navy! Gotta find my land legs again. lol

Cabin Review

Central Park View Stateroom

Cabin CV

Loved our cabin overlooking the central park. Cozy. Our attendant was very friendly and made us feel right at home. He was always able to answer any of our questions and was very kind.
