Let me first tell you a little about myself, This was our fourth cruise with princess and second aboard the sea princess. My wife and I are in our thirties and have a son of 3 years. We booked the sea princess the second time as the first cruise aboard the sea princess was great, however this time it just wasn't the same. The first thing I noticed was the condition of the fixtures and fittings, they were very worn i.e. the arms of chairs in the bar areas were all ripped and worn out and stools at the bars were also damaged, not what you expect from princess, our cabin (E302) was also very scruffy, the door to the cabin was dented all over, as if someone had been kicking and punching it and the bathroom seemed very tired, we even had to ask for beech towels as they were never left in the cabin!. I also think because the sea princess offers 'good deals' it tends to attract a lot of people whom may not otherwise be able to afford a cruise and usually stick to the likes of butlins or ocean village. I would never book this ship again and if you already have I suggest you cancel it and pay a little extra for a different ship!
