You will be happy! Otherwise .... don't go.

This cruise and the ship choice was by default - we were a wedding party of 80+, (YES RCI EIGHTY people and everyone had a similar opinion as what I've written below - most simply said 'never again') so the ship and cruise were selected by the wedding couple 18 months ago. We had our reservations about such a 'mega ship' but had little choice. We had an outside balcony on floor 12. Some of our group had suites and even one of the 17th floor penthouses. We had the opportunity to dine at several of the upcharge restaurants as well the exclusive Coastal Kitchen for suite only customers along with the main dining room. In summary, the housekeeping staff was wonderful - very attentive and our steward was terrific. Most in our party had similar experience. That's where the good news stopped.

The public area food was generally unappetizing and inedible. The buffet we avoided at all costs after we watched children grabbing food direct from the bowls - and return it after deciding they didn't want it. And I wonder why they had a Norovirus outbreak?

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D5

Our cabin was pretty standard - and about as narrow as a cabin could be made to walk around the end of the bed. Clearly 'innovation' means squeezing the width as tight as possible. the cabin was clean and our attendant outstanding!
