My cousin chose this cruise to celebrate her retirement. The service was great, the meals were okay and the crew was very friendly. It was good to be able to drive to a cruise port. Because I have a handicap placard, I was not charged for parking.

The ship was late boarding and staggered check-in was suspended. Before returning to her origin in Norfolk, she had make an emergency stop in Nassau to let off a sick passenger. That delayed her return and her repositioning to Charleston. A mob showed up at the 6:30 pm start of check-in. I was in the handicap parking lot, and had to wait over an hour for a shuttle. Standing on a bad leg is not good. The shuttles were stacked up at the terminal, which was full, and they couldn't let anyone off. I had Faster To The Fun, so that helped once I got to the terminal. Charleston wasn't well-prepared for the crowd.

Our cabin was ready when we boarded, We were greeted by our steward, although we didn't see much of him. He let us know he would be servicing the cabin twice a day. If we didn't see him, we left him notes when we needed something, and he complied. We had a balcony which was a little tight, but there was plenty of storage space.

Balcony

Cabin 8B

A little tight, but there was plenty of storage space. Also, there were three outlets available - two at the table and one behind the TV. Loved the towel animals every night.
