Traveled with 3 young children (4, 5, 8)...first time cruising. Great experience. Best kids camp - better than Beaches and Club Med kids clubs. Really!!!
Good food even for picky eaters - THOUGH if your kids like snacks that will tide them over bring them with you...I brought fish crackers and didn't have enough for the entire trip...big mistake - next time I will bring along their favorites so we avoid meltdowns and low blood sugar....especially on excursions - Good options - Belize we did the River/Mayan ruins - a bit too long for the kids though pretty great - LUNCH IS NOT KID FRIENDLY...so pack something from the ship if you can to bring for them. Roatan - Gambalimba Animals/Tabayana Beach...that is terrific for kids and enough beach time for everyone. Costa Maya - we booked a private resort - Maya Chan...amazing for our family/kids and very safe!!! Cozumel we did the Fury catamaran and snorkel and even the kids did it. That worked out great....no lunch so pack a snack for them.
Shows were awesome...THOUGH Illusionarium is extra and really not as good as the others...and if you are not front and center it sort of stinks...dinner is included and is just ok - you have no choices they just give it to you. Fine, though not what I preferred.
Not sure what catagory - we had 2 adjoining staterooms with balcony's...midship towards the front.
12th floor is where the kids club is so that worked for us. LOADS of storage space so all the extra hangers and hanging bags I brought were not necessary...though helped to organize.
Port was easy to get to and our embarkation was quick and easy.
