We had always cruised with Royal Caribbean as our preferred line - but that loyalty has been eroded over the last 4 or 5 years to the extent that we have just had our final 2 cruises with them; choosing to take advantage of the Status Match offered by MSC.

We boarded at Singapore and endured the horrendous check-in procedure, followed by the Safety Drill standing in direct sunlight and the unbearable 35 degree heat.

Our balcony cabin should have been the highlight of our cruise - right at the back of the ship, with a great view across the ocean. Sadly, our deck 6 balcony was let down by the infrastructure of the ship; other ships would have classed this as 50% obstructed but not on Voyager. The actual cabin was fine although it, like the rest of the ship, is showing its age and needs some serious money spending on it just to bring it back to an acceptable standard.
