Sail Date: May 2009

In a nutshell: had a wonderful time cruising for the first time. We were supposed to visit 4 ports after embarking in NY [Turks, San Juan, St Thomas, West End] but weather did not allow for docking at Bermuda's Naval Dock Yard, so we sailed on to NY.Food: agree with the reviewers I've read - fair to decent, not exceptional. Got bored of mainly the same thing at buffet, and little change in the restaurants menus. (did not try Sabatini's), and Crown Grill was great one time, not that good the next time. English pub lunch was awful.Intenet Cafe coffee was much better than the free coffee one gets everywhere else, well worth the cost of the coffee card.Theatre shows were pretty good, comics were great.Spa services were nice but the hard selling after every treatment became obnoxious.  Same with the photographs - way too expensive and a really horrible way of trying to find "yourself" in their display. Pricess, are you reading?  You really could come up with a much better way. Stateroom number? Last name? DEck?  Anything. Just do something other than what you are doing now.Elevators - too many times one or more are "out of order" - makes for an unpleasant experience.Stateroom stewart: incredibly nice. All in all, a good experience, but I'm not running to book the next cruise just yet.
