Sailed Princess Cruises many times. Chose 10 day Eastern Caribbean just because my husband and I love to cruise. Embarkation was smooth (Elite Status) and luggage arrived very quick. (Impressive) Cabin was clean. No working air conditioning, TV, internet and problem flushing toilet. Toilet issue resolved but left a lingering odor. We travel with room deodorant so it helped. Air was a problem for several days. Engineer came to the cabin twice and concluded we didn't close the balcony door tightly to click the sensor. But, that was not the problem. Face to face with passenger services re: air, we were told that the ship just returned from the Med and it takes time for the ship to adapt to the climate of the Caribbean. She actually expected us to believe that.

Dining was at best ordinary. Don't expect to eat breakfast in any of the dining rooms after 9:00 am. They are closed. You are forced to eat at the buffet. Upon entering the buffet, the smell hit you. Who know how long the food was sitting out. There is an area for continental breakfast and an area for eggs, etc. but if you want bacon, you must seek it out. It was hidden under the counter and you needed to ask. Sometimes it was well cooked, but not always. Wait staff did not help guests find a table and it took quite a while to get beverages, i.e. coffee, juice. Wait staff was surly. Passengers were angry,

All dining room service was closed when in port leaving those guests who chose not to go ashore to eat at the pool or the buffet. I repeat, it was obvious the food was not fresh. Dinner in the Italian restaurant was very good. Loved the veal. Dinner in the steak house was OK. Steak was highly peppered and I have a pepper allergy. It was quickly replaced with another steak. Wait staff was very kind. Menu should indicate whether meats or highly seasoned. Just a suggestion. Read more
