liked the itinerary, departure port and date. Lovely staff, energetic cruise director. Food was good. It was kind of a bummer that there were nights that multiple great entrees were offered on the same night-like prime rib and lobster....and other nights there weren't any "clear" winners. Was glad that there still was steel pan (drum) live music. DJ and prerecorded music are now the norm-on lido deck and at the shows. The live band in the atrium was great-and varied. No longer getting chocolate mints on the pillow. Fortunately learned before sailing that NO bottles can be brought on the ship-like bottled water or soft drinks. Did get to bring in canned coke-12 pack per person. Can buy 12 pack water for $3.99-fun shop BEFORE sailing. IF you book your next cruise while on your cruise-there's perks. We got $100 on board credit for a 7 night cruise and two vouchers-if friends book to join us within 60 days.

seemed smaller than on other carnival ships. didn't have exterior shelves. Didn't like lowered frame at base of bed. The way bed was facing-open area was @foot of bed-couldn't slide suitcases in. We had to move the beds to one side to have space to lay them on the floor to then slide under bed-a pain, but once done, was fine. There was an ottoman in the room and no space for it.
