Sail Date: Nov 2016
Cabin: Central Park View Stateroom with Balcony

This was the inaugural sailing from the US port in Ft. Lauderdale. The world's largest cruise ship, with approximately 6000 passengers. There are a lot of public spaces, so for the most part, you don't realize the large population on board, but be prepared to wait.

We arrived at the terminal about 1:00 pm, there was a long line for security checks, then a long line for check-in. Then the surprise, a computer cable had been severed between the ship and the terminal, so an even longer line to board the ship. We finally made it on the ship between 3:00 and 3:30. (All cabins were given Wi-Fi during the cruise)

The wait at most bars, even for a beer was anywhere from 10 to 15 minutes, as the bars were crowded and usually had only two bartenders. A que line for the bar would have been helpful. The robotic bar is pretty neat, but kept telling us they were out of particular spirits when others were getting the spirit requested.

Cabin Review

Central Park View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin C1

Very spacious for two adults. The bed was comfortable. The room had a fridge, safe, and more than enough storage.
