Where to start - lovely ship, shame about the lack of customer service and operational expertise.

Have cruised with RC a number of times before this last trip - but am very doubtful I will do it again.

It wasn't a good start when RC decided to change the drinks packages after we'd booked but before we had sailed. Had tried to book the packages a number of times but could not get through on the website (HINT: if this happens to you - phone them direct and book - something I didn't think to do). I found out that they were having website issues and - quote "We're not sure when they would be fixed". Despite getting three quarters of the way through booking, I couldn't complete the transaction. When I finally realised I could book on the phone, I discovered that they had taken the 2 cheaper alcohol options away, leaving only the most expensive. They did acknowledge that they could see where I had tried to book numerous times previously, but basically bad luck - we're not doing these anymore.

Cabin Review

Interior Stateroom

Cabin M

Cabin steward was fantastic! Cabin was always presented extremely well. Size was on par with previous trips - not huge, but good value for what we paid

Port Reviews

Sydney (Australia)

Visited Mare for the first time. Nice enough island, though staff did warn us there was nothing there except for the beach. Since this was certainly the case, thought it a bit much that RC charged every adult passenger $15.00 to get the shuttle bus to the beach. It was a 15 minute trip - so too far to walk. Think the bus should've been included.

Mystery Island

Nice stop - no problems here

Noumea

Plenty to do and see here - no problems
