We chose this cruise for the itinerary and its continuing Transatlantic cruise. We were lucky enough to stay in the same stateroom. The process of the continuation was done seamlessly. There were over 300 of us, the whole thing was handled in 20 mins. They took our old seapass cards and were told that we could pick them up in a few days at guest relations if we wanted them back. Well, they showed up with a very nice note the next day. I keep ours as a momento, so I was relieved when we got them back. We have sailed on the Equinox several times and have always been impressed with the genuine friendly crew and officers.
The ports of call were mostly new to us so we really enjoyed those. We have been to Rome several times and this time we booked a cooking class in the port city. So much fun and delish. Malta was especially interesting. We booked seaside towns & delicacies. Our lunch was very good and really highlighted the local food.
The speakers in the Beyond the Podium series were excellent. Dreams, Middle East Archeology, Ancient Medicine & Hollywood Heydays. You couldn't go wrong.
We had an ocean view which was in the very front of the ship and thus extra large. Our cabin attendants were fantastic.
