The cruise from Shanghai to Singapore was a total disaster. It started with the embarkation in Shanghai which was a chaos ,people cumulating on each other to enter the ship ...no lines no staff to assist. When you enter the ship you recognize that this is a very old and out of date ship. Everywhere the signs are in Chinese...The staff is mainly from South East Asia not able to speak English even.... The ship and this cruise was mainly directed to the Chinese market but this time sold in Europe..

There was certainly no entertainment on the ship I do not know what the cruise director was doing!!!!Although there was a dancing and singing team on board they only performed twice during the 14 day cruise... Other nights it was either a tenor who sang the same song 5 times I listened...Or they have shown movies in the theater....Or the same buffoon three times....

The ship had o skip two ports due to a typhoon .Costa organized this cruise just in the middle of a monsoon season where the weather was terrible ,raining on every port and the ship rocking like a cradle... Read more
