The NCL Epic is certainly not for everyone. The major problem we have with the ship is that it feels like a big, overcrowded floating hotel, and the bathroom situation is simply nuts. (Who decided to build the ship this way?) The reason we booked this sailing was due to the itinerary...Barcelona, Naples, Rome, Florence, Cannes, and Marseille, all in one week.

Here are some tips for navigating the Epic:

1. Book all of your shows and dinner reservations in advance. This is a must, or you will not get into the shows or dining facilities of your choosing.

If the bathroom setup wasn't so weird, would give the cabin higher marks.
