This cruise was chosen to celebrate our wedding anniversary, pricing fluctuated until final pay-off date, I was able to call and receive reductions as I saw reductions. After final pay-off, a 'military rate' was offered resulting in a $700+ loss to us. I contacted RCCL and asked for either onboard credit or a credit for our next cruise. I was informed that because it was post final payment nothing could be done. I emailed RCCL executives and promptly received a call on their behalf stating 'scheduling and paying for a cruise is a risk for cruisers' and we would receive nothing beside a 'special anniversary gift'... There was also an issue in increased daily tips charged once onboard to us vs. daily tips noted on our reservation.

We spent most of our time from airport arrival confused. While someone from RCCL transport was in the area of airport luggage claims, she disappeared by the time we claimed our luggage. Finally, 2 people arrived and showed us where to wait for the bus. The transport bus drove around the airport for quite awhile before picking up 2 additional people and heading to the pier. Arrival at the pier was confusing as there were many buses and staff whom seemed unclear as to their roles, after awhile, our luggage was re-tagged for room distribution and we were on our way to check in. When we entered the building, no one greeted us or informed us of the staff with tablets which now check in cruisers, until we decided to attempt to board.

The ship is beautiful, we loved our cabin (8624) which was a family junior suite. It slept 4 - 5 but only 2 occupied it. Our balcony had not been cleaned nor was cleaned our entire cruise, names from previous occupants were written on the glass and could be seen when mist covered. Dining was dynamic dining which RCCL did away with at the end of our cruise, doing so was a good thing!
