Chose this cruise for relaxation and the itinerary. Disappointed in the embarkation procedure, with technology today there should not be a reason to stand in long lines, even with elite status. The ship itself is fairly new, cabins well laid out and roomy. The dining started a downward spiral. On a gluten free diet. Their procedure is to have the guest preorder dinner in the dining room a day ahead. Nothing on the menu marked gluten free. Not only that but had a headwaiter come over and in an arrogant tone told me we were holding everything up, even though had told our waiter about the gluten free diet. Complained to the maitre d' and he didn't get back to us for days. This way of doing things made one felt put upon. Service in the dining room left a lot to be desired. Our waiter could not fathom that when someone wanted something added, they didn't want something else removed from their order. Led to a lot of confusion. Wrong food delivered twice. On the last night they couldn't [or didn't] find the remainder of a bottle of wine I had.

Speaking of wine-their smallest package is for 7 bottles [on a 10 day cruise]. If you're the only drinker that just doesn't compute. Just about none of the food on the buffet was marked gluten free, you're left to your own devices on that. Entertainment was fine-normal sea going type. Great music and musicians. Ports-were only 3. St. Martin, Antigua and Bonaire. Shore excursions were blocked out in Bonaire by the ship. Left to our own to find something on shore. Don't know that we would take this type of itinerary on this ship again.
