It started on the first evening at the formal dining hall. I ordered the turf and surf at a $20 add on price. The Steak was the size of a hard boiled egg and the lobster 1/2 tail tasted like it was cooked for the 5:15 seating and was served to me at the 8:15 seating. Mushy and tasteless at best. I paid $2350 for a suite with a balcony and other then the 2 bottles of water they originally give you, they charge you $3.75 for additional bottles of water. I hooked up with their internet for $17 a day and it was worse then the AOL phone hookups from the early 70's. I upgraded to the $25 package and it was very much like the $17 dollar package. It took 3 to 4 minutes for a picture to download. U tube videos stopped ever 10 or 15 seconds to buffer. My friend's wife was hurt in an accident and required the use of a wheelchair. Of course they rent them out. I had the feeling that their hand was in my pocket during the whole trip. I have never been nickel dimed like this ever before. I, for one will never go on another Carnival ship again. Anything is better then this.

In addition I believe they were operating the dining room with a skeleton crew. We had 1 waiter waiting on our entire table. Everything was slow and when you needed something you were out of luck. Maybe it's the Corp bottom line that's most important to them..

the cabin was nice and roomy. The room service was fine. The bathroom was certainly acceptable though the Jacuzzi tub did not work due to the tub not holding water.
