The best part of the cruise was we didn't have to fly. We live close enough and only takes an hour to get to the pier. Embarkation was a breeze.

The overall cruise was okay. The food in the main dining room has gone down hill again from when we last cruised on the Grandeur in 2013. The food was usually served warm not hot. The selections were not as good as previous cruises. The soups and breads as always were outstanding. The service was very good in the main dining room and in the Windjammer. We found a lot of the dishes in the Windjammer to be dried out. The pizza was dry as a bone and terrible. I told one of the managers they need to take a lesson from Celebrity on how to make a pizza. We ate in Chops Grille one evening and the service and food was very good. I was a little disappointed there wasn't a Rib-eye steak on the menu.

We missed going to CoCo Cay AGAIN due to weather. This is our 3rd time this has happened. I understand they are going to build a pier so they won't have to tender which should alleviate the problem of weather causing us to skip it. Spending an overnight in Nassau is not much fun when you've been there 6 or so times.

Cabin Review

Large Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin G

Cabin was sufficient for my wife and I. It didn't have a refrigerator which we really like. Our room steward was able to find us one which was great. As usual the window was usually coated in salt spray so couldn't see very clearly out of it. I wish the window was cleaned on a daily basis so we could enjoy the view. Room steward did a satisfactory job.

Port Reviews

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

Not much to do at this port unless you are going to Disney World.

Nassau

Not much to do in Nassau either.
