Starting in the beautiful city of Barcelona was lovely - spent three days prior to boarding exploring, enjoying the architecture, food and friendly people. Monday morning we walked to the Rambla flower stalls to find a bouquet for our cabin. Then off to the port, arriving at 11:00 we dropped our one suitcase and headed in for the easiest boarding ever with no line and we were on board in under 10 minutes. We had a late breakfast so rather than look for food we sat outside and enjoyed people watching. Rooms were released at 1:30 so off we went to find our cabin - 9592 on the hump. Glad to report that we did have any issue with excessive noise from the Centrum as we had read about from previous cruisers. I really enjoy the Radience and Vision class ship for the abundance of glass and places to seat and enjoy the sea so the Brilliance was perfect for us. We had lovely weather (okay, some overcast times and a bit of rain) and pretty calm seas the entire way. One nice thing - no issue finding a chaise either by the pool or on the upper deck.

I rarely remember the CD - but Clo changed the completely. Always upbeat and seemingly interested in the passenger. Entertainment, particularly the headliner acts was outstanding. No worries about what to do with 10 sea days - we took advantage of the daily bridge lessons with MaryLou and then played duplicate in the afternoon.

Due to the large number of Diamond and above passengers the Diamond lounge (used this for coffee daily) they used the Colony Club each evening, providing snacks, drinks and often live music which was quite nice.
