We are a married couple in our 50s and have cruised Celebrity, RCCL, and Princess (enough to be Platinum). We also cruised Regal Princess last year, so we felt like we knew the Royal. We did the 5 day cruise from FLL to Mexico right after the ship returned from dry dock in Italy. In general, there were few surprises. We got what we expected for the most part.

The opening of the center stair to passengers definitely eased the bottleneck at the center elevators.
