I have been on 5 cruises 2 of witch have been out of Boston. Getting to Black Falcon is fairly easy and parking is very close. Either in the lot along side the terminal make sure not to park under a lamp post the seagulls are very abundant and your vehicle will be covered in poo. The Garage is across the street. Cruise parking is on the 5th level and both places charge $140 for the week and that is for cruisers only. Getting on the ship is fairly easy but can take some time. If you are Gold, Platnum or a Suite guest but not the mini suits you may use the expedited line to board. The ship has been remodeled and done very tastefully . The pallet is very nice and not flashy like some cruise lines can be. The crew is always willing to help and very friendly. The ship is very clean except for the occasional plastic drink cup but i chalk this up to the lack of trash receptacles.

Dinning was delicious at all the dinning venues. The free as well as all a cart restaurants had a good selection of food to choose from. the Main dinning room had Lobster and certain steaks to order at a price, Unfortunately NCL has gone to a nickle and dime attitude for the restaurants. Rest assure there are plenty of complimentary items to choose from if you don't want to spend extra at your meals. Entertainment was wonderful and the times were very fitting. 7 and 9. I loved the crew talent show and the magic shows. Service was excellent my water glass was always full and our daughter had her meal right on time so as not to get out of hand. Our daughter was 2 during this cruise.

The excursions were very interesting and informative. I did find the prices to be high though compared to last years prices. The port was wonderful we were docked for 3 days. Very easy to get on and off the ship. Customs only needed the ship key and pass port or driver license. They needed a picture ID. As mentioned before we cruised with our 2 year old daughter who had a blast with the passengers and crew. Only thing is there is no clubs for 2 year old or younger children. There is a play area for the kids and parents and activities for them but the child needs a parent to attend with them. I guess what im trying to say is if you want private time with a 2 year old or younger it wont happen unless you brought a sitter.

Cabin Review

Family Suite

Cabin SJ

Our suit was wonderful big and roomy and would accommodate 4 adults and 2 children. The bathroom had double sinks a shower and separate tub. Queen bed, murffy bed convertible sofa. A 32 inch tv and 3 large windows overlooking the ocean. No balcony but it didn't matter to my family and I. We were on the 12th deck forward.
