This is our 7th cruise in all and our 4th on Celebrity Eclipse. As we don't fly, sailing from Southampton is very convenient as it's only a couple of hours from home.

Embarkation was really smooth and as we were Concierge we were able to board before 12. When we boarded we were greeted by a glass of champagne which was welcome. As expected, there are staff trying to get you to buy upgrades and drinks packages but we never felt any pressure to buy anything.

The ship is beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean. The main atrium with glass backed lifts is breathtaking. Read more
